These terms govern use of the SAGG Managed Inference API (the "Gateway"), accessed via /v1/chat/completions and related endpoints, including when reached through a third-party aggregator (e.g. OpenRouter). By sending a request to the Gateway, you agree to these terms.
SAGG is an OpenAI-compatible API gateway that relays chat completion requests to one of several upstream inference providers on your behalf, with automatic failover between providers. SAGG does not itself host or train any model. See PRIVACY_POLICY.md for what data is logged and how upstream providers are selected.
The Gateway is offered on a best-effort, "as is" and "as available" basis, with no uptime, latency, or throughput guarantee (SLA). Automatic failover to a Backup provider reduces, but does not eliminate, the risk of request failure when an upstream provider is degraded or unavailable. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that output content will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose.
You may not use the Gateway to generate content that is illegal under applicable law, to attempt to circumvent rate limits or billing controls, or to send content that violates the acceptable-use policy of the upstream provider actually serving your request (currently Gonka network / DeepInfra — see Privacy Policy sec 3). We reserve the right to suspend access for a client identifier engaged in abuse, without prior notice, to protect service availability for other clients.
SAGG claims no intellectual property rights over the prompts you submit or the completions returned by the upstream models. Your rights to the output are governed by the terms of the specific underlying model (e.g. DeepSeek) and applicable law.
Pricing is published via the /models endpoint and, where applicable, via the aggregator platform (e.g. OpenRouter) through which you access the Gateway. Prices may change; the pricing in effect at the time a request is served applies to that request. We do not offer refunds for completed requests that returned a valid model response, including where you are dissatisfied with the content of that response.
Content-handling and training-use commitments are stated exclusively in PRIVACY_POLICY.md. These Terms do not create any additional data-handling guarantee beyond what is stated there, including for upstream providers whose guarantees are structurally limited (see Privacy Policy sec 3 regarding the decentralized Primary path).
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SAGG's total liability for any claim arising from use of the Gateway is limited to the amount you paid for the specific request(s) giving rise to the claim in the preceding 30 days. SAGG is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data, arising from Service interruption, inaccurate output, or upstream provider failure.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time. We may update these Terms; material changes will be reflected in this file's "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Gateway after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province of British Columbia, consistent with the operator's jurisdiction stated in PRIVACY_POLICY.md sec 6.
